Today, I took a two man charter 17 miles offshore. It was a little choppy and windy (but of course, we reviewed that when we planned the trip!) We caught lots of porgies today! We also pulled up some nice Amberjacks. We loaded up on Yellow Tail Snappers - and a first time offshore angler pulled up a Mutton Snapper. This was a special catch because Muttons are not as abundant on the Gulf and are normally in deeper water. They are very popular on the East Coast and delicious on the dinner table.
